A very exciting game of Junior cricket this morning saw Groombridge beat our near rivals Withyham at under 15 in the Border League. Some fine hitting by Tom Watkins, Harry Powney and Oliver Spoor saw us set 103 for 8 as the target.
Wickets fell regularly in the Withyham innings with Nick Mason almost taking a hatrick backed up with resolute fielding and a really athletic catch at he end from Tom Watkins as the opposition surrendered in the mid 70's all out.
